With the support of the American Public Health Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the New England Children’s Behavioral Health Network (NECBHN) is hosting a webinar exploring Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). ACEs and its interconnectedness with overdose, and suicide are urgent public health challenges that have consequences on all of us. However, these challenges are preventable if we adopt a coordinated approach that focuses on addressing today’s crises while preventing tomorrows.
The session will focus on the neurological impact of trauma on children and families, while also highlighting lessons learned from implementation efforts across communities both nationally and regionally.
Participants will learn about:

● National trends and approaches to ACE prevention and resilience
● Regional and Connecticut-based implementation efforts
