Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) is an evidence-based approach that brings mental health, substance use, and physical health services together within the settings where children and families already seek care - primary care offices, schools, and community organizations.
Integration means a child flagged for anxiety at a well-child visit can speak with a behavioral health clinician the same day. It means a school counselor and a pediatric practice share care plans. It means families do not fall through the cracks between systems.
This webinar brings together leaders from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut to share how their states are advancing IBH for children and families — what they have built, what they have learned, and how states in New England can move forward.
Speakers will highlight the partnerships that support integrated care among healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations, discuss workforce challenges, share how states are measuring impact and explore emerging policy opportunities.
