The Future of the Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program in New England

How can we increase access to quality behavioral health care for children and families close to home?

For two decades, the answer to this has been the federally-funded Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program. The program aims to provide pediatricians in primary care settings with access to specialist psychiatric advice and support.

At our webinar on Wednesday June 4th, leaders from 5 programs across New England will share how these programs have built capacity for mental health regionally and how they have evolved models of care and support to meet the needs of specific states. They will also address what they have learned and how they are addressing future challenges, including sustainability.

Who should attend:This Lunch & Learn is intended for pediatric and primary care providers, behavioral health professionals, state agencies sand community leaders, educators, care coordinators, policy advocates, and members of the Children’s Behavioral Health Committees—anyone dedicated to improving mental health access for children and youth across all New England states.
